Final Stretch of Summer - August Newsletter

Hello NCMCC Families!

We hope your summer has been filled with joy, sunshine, and sweet memories. As we head into the last month of summer, we have a few important updates, reminders, and dates to help you and your little ones get ready for a smooth transition into the new school year.

🌟 Important August Dates

📅 Friday, August 8, 2025

LEGOLAND FIELD TRIP – Facility CLOSED

We’re headed to Legoland! Please note, the center will be closed for this exciting off-

campus adventure.

📅 Friday, August 15, 2025

BIG KAHUNA FIELD TRIP – Facility CLOSED

We’re closing out summer with a splash at Big Kahuna! The center will also be closed on

this day.

📅 Friday, August 22, 2025

SCHOOL SUPPLIES DUE – Facility OPEN

Please bring in all school supplies by this date. All items must be labeled with your child’s

full name — this includes all clothing (tops, bottoms, socks, and undergarments). Soiled

clothing will be sent home, and a fresh set must be brought in the next day.

🎒 2025–2026 School Supply List

Please ensure your child is prepared with the following:

• 1 box JUMBO crayons

• 2 pocket folders

• 1 box washable classic markers

• 2 Elmer’s glue sticks (NOT washable)

• 4 CUBBY wood pencils (no characters/fancy pencils)

• 1 pack 8ct Crayola washable watercolors

• 1 pair 5” blunt scissors

• 2 composition books

• 1 box Kleenex

• 1 container Clorox/disinfectant wipes

• 1 roll paper towel

• Quart size Ziplock bags

• Hand sanitizer

• Wet wipes (for hands/face)

• Book bag

• 2 complete changes of clothes (including tops, bottoms, socks, underclothes)

• One change MUST be a uniform or school colors:

• – Burgundy or white top

• – Khaki bottoms

• 1 twin or crib sheet

• 1 blanket

🗂 Note: A labeled extra uniform or school color outfit should be kept in your child’s

cubby at all times.

Tuesday, September 2, 2025 – First Day of School! 🎒
